More of the exhibition complete

The Exhibition Complete

Private View

Labels for the work

I added a CV to my space for reference and labels with titles and prices.

Curating the space

It took a while to decide where to display the wall prints and sculptures.

Ideas when setting up....

I thought I might use a slide projector but decided not to. Some of my work switched places when setting up to create new work with new meanings.

The exhibition set up continued....

The plinth started as a black bar stool. I painted it white as the black was too strong in the space.

The Victoria Institute

Here are some images of the victoria institute inside and around the exhibition space.

Setting up the exhibition

I have painted all the walls and tables/ plinths white.

After the open day

I realised I need to still get together more work for the exhibition coming soon...these are photos of the artwork I am working on so far....

The floor we painted grey and set the space up as a gallery, this was a good day to highlight our work and prepare for the exhibition in August.

Open Day

We had an open day to highlight the facilities in the vic, bar, snooker room, birds of prey, bands and art.
I share the studio with a painter named Frances, we exhibited our work in the space together - sculptures and paintings.

Trade Bottle

I've made some new work which will be wall mounted. Stacking shelves x 3 made from driftwood and a bottle, linked to trade and history. This is for my London exhibition Pop Up Circus and the Arundel exhibition in August.

Photos I have adapted on my phone.

My space is getting very busy and I want to make new work.

I walk to and from the studio in the evenings sometimes.

Gold Thing sits nicely on the woodwork at the side of the wall.
